Winter 2014 is coming fast and Thredbo has ?some plans to make it a big one. ?Finally Thredbo has come up with a plan to get snow play back into the village. ?A new snow play park will be constructed at the bottom of the Lover's Leap run ?to provide a space for tobogganing, snow tubing and snow man action. ?The good news is that this park will be walking distance from the village so if the kids have energy to burn after a day on the hill they can take a quick couple of laps on the snow tubes to burn off some more. ? If you are just coming to Thredbo to throw a snowball and ride a toboggan then there is somewhere safe to play without having to worry about ?skiers and snowboarders.
There is ?more great news for families this winter with ?the change in age restrictions for child passes lifting from 14 years to 17 years. ?So even if your teenagers eat twice as much as you do they will still be eligible for child prices on all lift pass and equipment hire products!
Also new for 2014 is a Super Terrain Park for those who want to ??jib and jump their way across the mountain, ?this park will be the longest in Australia bringing slope-style on steroids to Thredbo.
