Opening Weekend Celebration
The highlight of the weekend will be a huge FREE concert in the village square featuring Sneaky Sound System, poolside parties at the famous Thredbo Alpine Hotel Poolside Bar, opening of Thredbo?s new snow play area, the annual long lunch on Sunday, launch of the Smirnoff Snow Dome, nonstop activities for the kids and of course, skiing and snowboarding on everyone?s favourite mountain.

Rekorderlig Apr?s Hot Pool Party
Thredbo Alpine Hotel | 2pm ? 6pm
Rekorderlig is back this season hosting the hottest pool party in the Snowy Mountains. Enjoy a dip from the most scenic pool and hot tub in Australia or join your mates at the Poolside Bar for a beverage around the fire pits.
Amy Chase and Scotty Pullin
Schuss Bar | 9pm ? onwards
Amy?s soulful voice and Scotty?s DJ talents create an incredible atmosphere. Dance you way into the 2014 season, it?s a great warm up for your first day of skiing.

Kids Pre-Season Training Weekend
Thredbo Leisure Centre | 9.30am - 3.30pm
Thredbo Snow Sports School is offering an exclusive training program this June Long Weekend. Warm the kids up for winter with a high energy training weekend that is loaded with on-snow sessions, dryland training, tech talks, Olympian presentations plus much more. Ice Sculpture Creation
Village Centre | 10am ? onwards
It will be chainsaws, chisels and crystal clear ice as award winning ice sculptor Kenji Ogawa takes to blocks of ice, crafting a unique Thredbo creation. Picking his way through the weekend, Kenji will surprise Thredbo visitors with beautiful icy art.
NEW Snow Play Area Launch Party
Valley Terminal | 2pm ? 3pm
Celebrate the opening of the new Thredbo Snow Play Park with a fun party and romp in the snow. Bring the kids and fun-loving friends to the Snow Play Area launch party to slide on a toboggan, ride a snow tube, build a snowman, make a snow angel and just generally play in the snow.
Rekorderlig Apr?s Hot Pool Party
Thredbo Alpine Hotel | 2pm ? 6pm
Make sure to swing by the Rekordelig party to warm up by the firepits or take a dip in the heated pool with your favourite snow friend and a beverage.
Fireworks Spectacular
On the Mountain | 6pm
Head to Thredbo for the biggest fireworks display in the region. Look high into the alpine sky towards the mountain to catch the colour, pop and sparkle of the crowd favourite.
Thredbo Street Party Featuring Sneaky Sound System
Village Square | 6pm ? onwards
Sneaky Sound System LIVE and FREE in the Village Square. Sneaky Sound System is arguably one of Australia?s best dance music groups with chart topping hits and international success in a great outdoor venue.

Blessing of the Snow

In conjunction with Thredbo ski patrol, local church leaders gather in the beautiful Thredbo Chapel to wish everyone a safe, happy and prosperous season ahead.

Slide off the snow and into your very own Snow Dome. This on snow pop up bar will have the best DJs, drinks and incredible light show activations - complete with astonishing projections and a host of amazing visual effects.
Thredbo Night Rail Jam
5pm ? onwards
Thredbo Night Jams are a big new addition to the Thredbo winter events calendar. This is event one of the monthly comp under lights. It?s casual and easy going with a great atmosphere. The Night Jam is open to all levels.
