On the 23rd to 25th of March the Thredbo Jazz Festival will be at a milestone, reaching a quarter century of bringing music fans to a festival that is renowned amongst musicians as "the best gig on the calendar". Thredbo Jazz offers world class Jazz, Funk and Groove music in a spectacular alpine setting and with the venues concentrated in the Village Centre and at the top of the chairlift, you can park the car for the weekend and just soak up the vibe.
Some of the acts playing at this years event include saxophonist James Valentine and his quartet bringing a jazz feel to classic Oz Rock standards, Ian and Nigel Date playing the Gypsy Hot Club style like few others can, Drumming legend Andrew Dickeson, Blues Soul powerhouse Ray Beadle, rising star Sarah McKenzie and many many more. A highlight of the weekend will be the 25th Anniversary Ball on Saturday Night.
