Gail Page Gail Page Gail Page is truly one of a kind. There is positively no female vocalist out there that can do what she does. As Michael Smith from Drum Media says of Gail's vocal, it's "soft and velvety one minute, dark and powerful when it needs to be and deeply imbued with the wear and tear of having lived: a real woman's voice." Gail sees her music as a "sacred" place, drawing inspiration from her Aboriginal/ Irish heritage, coupled with a lifetime of experience. This Sydney-based singer delivers the goods.Having been in the business only 5 years, Gail has stormed the soul, blues arena with a powerful force. Her first album, Colours that run, received 6 nominations out of a possible 7 available at the prestigious Australian Blues "Chain" awards in 2008, and won best female vocalist, best new artist and best producer awards.Since that time, Gail has been finding her 'musical' feet so to speak, having spent the last few years playing with Australia's cream of musicians, such as Harry Brus, Andy Thompson, Kevin Borich, Lachlan Doley, Kirk Lorange, Mal Eastick and Mark Kennedy to name just a few. Shannon Bourne The tale of Shannon Bourne is an interesting and evolving story. Free-thinking guitarist, singer songwriter, producer, session musician, tutor and mentor. With the release of his critically acclaimed second solo album DARK THINGS, Shannon has taken this greatest (and most artistically courageous) leap to-date to realise a personalised and intimate form of musical expression. Discover for yourself and check the video link and view a snatch of the astonishing performance at the 2009 Port Fairy Festival Guitar Zone concert. Sharing the stage that day was Grammy award-winning V.M. Bhatt, who took time out personally express his appreciation of Shannon's playing. The spotlight of attention really started to move Shannon's way when he was picked up as personal guitar-slinger to blues legend, Chris Wilson. The young Bourne learnt his performance craft in the boot camp of countless gigs, TV appearances and festivals with the in-demand Wilson, both in here and overseas. Bonus nights (and there were many), would be on those occasions where the bill was shared playing with the likes of Richard Thompson - a personal favourite and influence on Shannon. All this experience and the recording of two albums with Chris, whetted the appetite of the guitarist to go out and do his own thing - in 2005 BURN IT DOWN was released

Jules Boult As a performer and songwriter today, I am always reaching back in order to look forward. Reaching back to what? Well, the blues I guess - those songs from turbulent times that still resonate with people today. Whether jazz, blues, country or folk - I care little for the distinction - it has always been a case of nuance for me. I also continue to draw upon the seminal experience of hearing real live blues - played by my father in our childhood home - which has fuelled my hunger to explore, create and develop. If I were to be completely accurate, my songs are neither fact nor fiction. What they are though are good stories that illuminate life's truths. Stories that are as emotional, humorous and strange as me and the times we live in - and I'm not about to ruin them with too much detail.
