The Cannonball MTB Festival is here for 2013. ?Without doubt, this is the biggest Mountain Bike Downhill Festival ever held in Thredbo. ?This event is set to bring a riders from around Australia and the globe. ?With close to $40,000 in prizes ? over 4 events there are plenty of reasons to bring your bike to Thredbo from December 6-8 this year. ?The signature event is of course the Cannonball Downhill on Thredbo's infamous, and recently revamped downhill track. ?World class riders will be lining up to hurl themselves down this gnarly course with $5000 in cash up for grabs. ?Also on the downhill program is the "Flow Motion" ?race on Thredbo's new flow track with less granite and more glide, this is ?a race for the style masters.
Leaving the downhill racing aside there is the Whip Wars Big Air Bonanza and if that sounds hectic, you guessed it! ?Last but not least on this big biking weekend is the Pump Challenge under ligths on Thredbo's new Pump Track. ?
