The weather in Thredbo over the past few weeks has been cool to say the least.? Over the past week we have had consistently cold nights with temperatures in the range of minus 5 or colder most nights.? Snow has started falling over the past 2 days and is forecast to continue until the end of the week.?? We have had about 15-20cm on the top of the mountain and about 5-10cm in the village today.? However with the cold temps this snow has stuck and it is likely to be around for a while if the weather forecasts pan out. We are still a month out from the June Long weekend and the start of the Snow Season 2011 but there is no question that the colder temperatures we had over the summer season have persisted in Autumn.?
