Thredbo Freestyle Events? - Even bigger and better in 2013.
The Freestyle Events has transformed from a running series to individual events, allowing entrants to concentrate on individual disciplines where their skills lie.
Thredbo's park builders will create an innovative Slopestyle run for this event.
This year, there is a total prize pool of over $25,000 in cash and prizes for the five freestyle events, crowning winners for? first, second and third places as well as encouragement prizes for each individual event.
With the Rails Event kicking off the series on June 29th, it will be followed by the Slopestyle, Ridercross, Banzai and Big Air events. You may enter as many events till your heart's content and entrants who step up to the challenge of all five events, will get instant entry to win a set of brand spanking new Rossignol Skis or a Snowboard.
Open to skiers and boarders of any level who want to enjoy a day of competition in a fun and safe environment with great atmosphere, these events are an enjoyable start to the season and allow riders to warm up for some of the even bigger events lined up for this winter.
Slopestyle is the second event of the Freestyle?Event and it will occur on the 16th of July - Riders trick it up high in the sky and hit a mix park features to impress the judges.
