Christmas and New Year in Thredbo is all about family fun and getting outdoors. ? ?The?Activities?kick off on December 24th with Carols by Candlelight around the?Alpine?Hotel Pool. ?From December 26th to the 31st the Festive Family activities are on every day in the Village Square including face painting, story telling, kids dance workshops and a jumping castle. New Years Eve in Thredbo is fun for everyone with the party band Chocolate Starfish playing classic covers from 9pm in the Village Square. ?On New Years Day you can climb Mt Kosciuszko and then spend the afternoon relaxing in the sun on the Bistro Deck with more live music.
Children's ?Activities?continue into January with the ?Kid's Club Night Adventure every Tuesday and Friday until the 11th of?January. ?The??kids love this one with the?adventure?starting at a secret bush camp for a sausage sizzle before heading off to hunt for wombats, possums and things that go bump in the night.
And of course, every day you can mountain bike ride, ride the bobsled, ?hit the water slide, take a hike, check out the beautiful alpine wildflowers, ?play golf or tennis, catch a trout, ?go abseiling, ?have a picnic, swim in the Thredbo River, ?head to Lake Jindabyne for wake boarding, sailing or canoeing or just relax in the fresh mountain air and read a good book.
