The 14th annual Australian Interschools MTB Championships is on again in Thredbo from the March 18 to 20.?? Hosted by the South East Mountain Bike Company this is? the country's premier school aged? mountain bike competition. Whether you are a seasoned pro, or just learning the ropes - the Australian Interschools Mountain Bike Championships provides a fun introduction to mountain bike racing. Open to all secondary schools - public and private - the Interschools weekend features racing over all the mountain bike disciplines: downhill, 4X, short and long track cross country. Entrants are encouraged to particpate in all four events, with individual cyclists vying for the King and Queen of the Mountain crowns, and school teams for the prestigious Schools Shield.
