The ?Thredbo Fly Fishing Expo is a free (yes you read it right) weekend of demonstrations and workshops aimed to improve your skills and introduce some of the latest and greatest in Fly Fishing Techniques.
This innovative weekend is hosted by Thredbo's own Clearwater Fly Fishing guide ?Craig (DAF) Daly and Master Casting instructor and National Fly Casting team member ? Matt Howell. ?With this duo on deck you will be treated to a full weekend of workshops on fly casting, fly tying, ?tech talks on the latest innovations in?equipment?and techniques and of course plenty of stories about the ones that got away and the ones that didn't!

7.30pm Head to the Thredbo Alpine Hotel Lounge Bar and meet your hosts, Craig Daly, Matt Howell and company.
Saturday, 28th February on the Village Green
9.30am - 11.30am Basics casting demonstration.
11.45 - Equipment and Fly Tying workshops
1.30pm - 3.30pm Distance casting and presentation accuracy.
3.45pm -?Equipment and Fly Tying workshops
5pm - Tech Talk on tactics, rigs and streamcraft.
Sunday, 1st of March??February on the Village Green
9.30am - 11.30am Switch and Spey casting demonstration.
12.30pm Finish your weekend at the Thredbo Throw Casting Competition, followed by a BBQ and prize giving on the Thredbo Alpine Hotel Pub Bistro Balcony.
