Merrit's is about as close to a beach as you will get in the mountains. Located at the bottom of Cruiser Chair, in a little suntrap it is a sheltered spot with outdoor seating and a large indoor restaurant for cold days. Merrits has a good variety of food but it can get busy so plan and early or late lunch to avoid the crowds
