Cancellation and booking policies for Lantern Thredbo Accommodation in Thredbo Village

Including all apartment properties managed by the Lantern Thredbo Apartments trading as Valley Management P/L. Please read the Payments and Cancellation Policy and Reservations conditions. Upon making a reservation with the Lantern Thredbo Apartments group you are agreeing to these conditions.

Please note. When you book an apartment online the room type is guaranteed but the room number may change.

Summer Peak Season Reservations.

These conditions also apply to Summer Peak Season Reservations being reservations to stay in the period including all School Holiday Periods (All States) between the Monday of October Labour Day Long weekend (New South Wales) and the Thursday prior to the June Queen’s Birthday Weekend (New South Wales.) These conditions also apply to the Snowy Ride Weekend, the ACT and Victorian Labour Day Long weekend, the Easter Long Weekend and any other Special Event Weekends.

Deposit payment – For Summer Peak season bookings a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the reservation is required when making the reservation or a full payment is required if the reservation is made within 30 days of the arrival date. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation without notice if the deposit payment is not received by this time.

Final balance payment – Full payment is due for all summer peak season bookings 30 days prior to the arrival date. If final payment is not received by this time we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and refund the deposit less a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total accommodation value of the reservation. You agree that we will deduct the balance payment from the credit card that you have provided for the initial deposit, unless we have agreed to alternative arrangements with you.

Cancellations – No Refund will be paid for any reservations cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date. If a reservation is cancelled prior to the 30 day period a fee equal to 10% of the total accommodation value for the reservation will be charged as a cancellation fee. If the guest does not cancel the reservation but fails to arrive on the nominated arrival date without notification the reservation will be cancelled and we will charge a fee equal to 100% of the total accommodation value of the reservation.

These cancellation terms will not be waived for any reason including as a result of Weather, Snow Cover, Individual Health issues or illness including COVID19. For this reason Travel insurance is strongly recommended.  Covermore offers   COVID19 cover under their domestic travel Insurance.   You should check the terms of any insurance policy to ensure it meets your requirements.

These terms may be waived in the event of government travel restrictions due to  NSW Public Health Orders.  However the decision to waive these terms is purely at the discretion of Valley Managment P/L.

Summer Low Season Reservations.

The following conditions apply to all periods between the Monday of October Labour Day Long weekend (New South Wales) and the Thursday prior to the June Queens Birthday Weekend (New South Wales.) Excluding the New South Wales School Holidays, the Snowy Ride Weekend, the ACT and Victorian Labour Day Long weekend, the Easter Long Weekend and other special event weekends.

Deposit Payment – 50% of the total cost of the reservation is required when making the reservation or immediately if the reservation is made within 10 days of the arrival date. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation without notice if the deposit payment is not received by this time.

Final balance payment –  Full payment is due for all summer low season bookings 30 days prior to the arrival date. If final payment is not received by this time we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and refund the deposit less a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total accommodation value of the reservation.

Snow Season Reservations.

The following payment and cancellation conditions apply to all Snow Season reservations being reservations to stay in the period between the Friday of the June Queen’s Birthday Weekend in NSW the Monday of the October Labour day weekend (NSW).

Deposit payment – 50% deposit will be due when making the reservation or a full payment is required if the reservation is made within 60 days of the arrival date. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation without notice if the deposit payment is not received by this time. Please note: Payment plans may be available for some reservations. If you make a booking using a payment plan we have offered you then the deposit requirements may vary from those above.

Final balance payment – Full payment is due for all snow season bookings 60 days prior to the arrival date. If final payment is not received by this time we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and refund the deposit less a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total accommodation value of the reservation. Please note: Payment plans may be available for some reservations. If you make a booking using a payment plan we have offered you then the balance payment requirements may vary from those above.

Payments and Covid Cancellation Policy

All reservation cancellations must be notified in writing by email to bookings@lantern.com.au.

Reservation Conditions:

These Conditions apply to all reservations in all seasons, In booking to stay at the Lantern Thredbo Apartments you agree that:
1. Any charge for services to you, not billed at the time of your arrival, may be added to your account for settlement as arranged or may be charged to the same credit card used to pay the account at the time of arrival.
2. Checkout time is 10:00 am on the date shown for your departure unless we agree to another time.
3. Departure after that time may incur additional room charges.
4. You will not permit more persons to occupy the apartment than we have agreed to allow at the time of booking.
5. You are and remain personally liable to pay the total amount due on for your reservation as set out in the Reservations Payment and Cancellations Policy above.
6. You will pay us for any loss or damage to the room or equipment in the room during your period of use.
7. You will return the key for the room at the time of your departure or pay a charge for replacement of the keys/or lock as required.
8. Any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought in or on to the rooms, grounds or car park remain your responsibility and we are not responsible for their safekeeping.
9. You agree that you will not make any claim against Valley Managment P/L, its employees  or the Lantern Apartments Association or any individual property owners for any damage or loss to your goods or valuables, regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.
10. You agree to receive commercial electronic messages from us in the future unless you advise us otherwise in writing.
We adhere to the National Privacy Principles relating to the collection of personal information and we will adhere to our Industry Association standards for use of any personal information.

Conditions Related to Special Offers.

All of the following special offers are subject to the same Cancellations and Reservations policy as applies to accommodation reservations over the same period.
These conditions are set out above.

Free Night Offers.

Minimum stay conditions and set arrival days may apply. Availability dates as advertised.
This offer may be subject to limited availability, dates and apartments types. Bookings for 3rd night free offer must be for 2 consecutive nights in the same apartment on the standard nightly rate with a 3rd consecutive night at no extra charge. The Pay 4 Stay 6 offer and Pay 6 Stay 9 offer must be for either a minimum 4 or 6 consecutive nights on the standard nightly rate with the free nights taken consecutively on the same reservation. Not available with any other offer.

Privacy Policy.

VALLEY MANAGEMENT PTY LTD is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your reservations, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your booking experience with us; that?s all.

Use of Cookies and IP Address.

VALLEY MANAGEMENT PTY LTD uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a reservation and to pay for reservations. Cookies sent to your computer from VALLEY MANAGEMENT PTY LTD only last while you?re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its ?IP address,? and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer?s IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.
We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to finalise a reservation you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your booking.
