Check Out the Hottest Ski Jackets for Winter 2014
Posted on Friday, 27th of June 2014
It is brisk, it is chilly, it is cold here in Thredbo. Find out how to keep warm and look hot year round on your Thredbo holiday.
Don’t gad about the CBD of Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra for ski wear. Look no further than Thredbo’s own stores for awesome new jackets for this current season.
Wear them on the slopes, for après-ski drinks or further from the slopes into the city. Wear them your own way.
This season sees bright colours, shiny jackets and fur collars to add a twist to traditional ski wear. Puff panels and collegiate arm bands modernise classic ski designs.
Fushia, tangerine, black or white. Checks and stripes. These jackets will take you from a Thredbo holiday in our winter, to Aspen and Telluride over Christmas, and beyond. True style never goes out of fashion.
Take a trip down to Thredbo and see for yourself the amazing array of warm jackets, including kids ski wear, to put you ahead of the field. Team your jackets with boots and a beanie and head to the pub, bar or restaurant for dinner or lunch. You’ll be in good company.

Best ways to keep warm & stylish in Thredbo
If you don’t usually wear a beanie or hat or consider it them fashion statements, the rules are relaxed in a snow resort. Beanies make the wearer appear snug and relaxed, a far sight more stylish than a shivering quivering cold bunny.
The rules of fashion extend to the skivvy here too. City-wise the skivvy remains the domain of science labs, university campuses and scout halls, in snow resorts skivvies can be cool and stylish, teamed with great ski jackets, beanies and snow boots. Skivvies segue well from the slopes to après-ski as well.
Layering works best in temperatures plummeting outside to warmed up drinking and dining venues.
Thermal underwear is blessed for the icy outdoors conditions but can be quietly rolled up and slipped into handbags, pockets, ski helmets or boots if drinking and dining sessions continue.
Thermal tops and thermal pants can be short or long in leg and sleeve length, good quality for a long life or cheaper for just this season or two.
