The 20th Thredbo Blues Festival is only 2 weeks away and the line up this year is amazing. With 2 Aria winners and a host of Australian Blues Legends it is an event not to be missed. If you haven’t been to a Thredbo Festival before you are in for a treat. No dusty paddocks, no big stages miles away so you can’t see a thing, everything is up close and personal. Park your car for the weekend, you won’t need it. There are 24 acts on the program this year headlined by Wendy Mathews and Rick Price and including Australian Blues legends like Kevin Borich, Jeff Lang, the Foreday Riders, the Mighty Reapers and Ray Beadle, then rising stars of Australian Blues like Minnie Marks, PJ O’Brien and Genevieve Chadwick along with host of superb Blues performers. You will be able to see everyone over the weekend because performers usually play 3 times in venues that range from restaurants at the top of the mountain to village square gigs, outdoor poolside gigs and night clubs.
The weekend festival passes include chairlift access so you can mix it up with some festival action, high country hiking, mountain biking or just relaxing by the beautiful Thredbo River. Book a weekend package now with accommodation and festival passes from only $345 per person twin share or from only $250 per person for larger groups.
