The Kids Night Adventure…Wombats beware.
Posted on Friday, 1st of November 2013
Night time in the Australian bush is a busy time. The nocturnal natives are out in force doing what they love to do and so is the wildlife. At least that is the way it is in Thredbo in the summer school holidays. The Thredbo Kids Night Adventure is the perfect family holiday combination, The Kids love it and it is timed to start right about when parents would love to be sitting in one of Thredbo’s great restaurants cracking a Pinot Gris for kid free dinner. The best part about the Night Adventure is that you don’t have to feel guilty. While your’e tucking into your entree of fresh Tathra Oysters or smoked trout terrine, the kids are playing games on Thredbo’s Village green and enjoying a sausage sizzle while the sun sets. Just as your main course arrives, they are heading out into the bush to spot the wildlife and listen to the night noises of the high country. By the time you’re into the sticky wine and petit fours the kids are back on the Village Green with their guide playing more games and burning off that last bit of energy so by the time you get them back to the apartment they will crash like a matchbox car and you won’t hear a peep out of them all night. What you do after that is up to you…
The kids night adventure is on in the Christmas School Holidays and the April School Holidays so if you are bringing the family to Thredbo for a holiday remember to book the kids in and book the restaurant! Everyone’s a winner.
