    We could not fault anything with our stay!

    We could not fault anything with our stay! The views were magical - we were so lucky to snag a last minute stay last weekend at a bargain price before official open of season next weekend- and the mountains were covered in about 30cm of snow! Cheryl's recommendation of the terrace apartments as being ideal for our 3 year old daughter turned out to be the most perfect advice! Not only did we feel like we had the mountain to ourselves looking out from that huge and private terrace, we had it all to ourselves that weekend and our daughter had that whole extra space to run around on safely when she woke up! The fittings in the apartment are modern and comfortable. The king split bed provided a good night's sleep! We enjoy the walk between the apartment and the village - it is picturesque and also great exercise! Stroll down to the bakery for a coffee in the morning and enjoy the view! So conveniently located- the apartment is lovely and warm and given it got down to -3°c each night you would never have known it. I would recommend Lantern to anyone wanting to book Thredbo accommodation - Ian and Jill have made Thredbo accessible with a range of quality accommodation and almost all with free WiFi which I have to say is surprisingly fast! Fast enough to stream Netflix on the playstation at night (I'm a realist when it comes to peak season but hey, you can't have it all!) This is our 3rd stay this year with Lantern Apartments and we won't book through anyone else now! First with Snowflakes studio, then Crackenback Castle and now lantern 14. Cannot fault any aspect. Scott is super helpful and a pleasure to deal with too. Looking forward to booking a peak season chalet for next year and taking the payment plan option- such a great means of making a snow holiday affordable to the average family     Aside from the website sometimes being glitchy, everything is good!

    We had a wonderful stay from start to finish.

    We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Crackenback Castle was beautifully heated for our arrival. Well-maintained and lovely furnishings with a nice retro touch. Pleasantly surprised to see that a tub of firewood and kindling was provided, I figured it may only be there in ski season so that was brilliant to get us started especially when the early May temps got to a chilly -4°C overnight. Nothing quite like sitting back with a glass of red beside a blazing fire and the backdrop of the gorgeous mountains. Kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and a great assortment of pots and pans etc. Loved all the provisions, things I wasn't expecting like the rice cooker, hand mixer, slow cooker and coffee machine. Beds were comfy and the doonas very warm and cosy. Such a beautiful view of the mountain from the entire balcony. Great little bbq, easy to clean. Oh and the WiFi was surprisingly really great! I'm used to places advertising free WiFi and it being very substandard with slow to minimal connections and dropouts. We had 4 devices connected at one point and worked perfectly- I was even able to stream a HD movie on my laptop without buffering issues. Thanks again for such a positive stay. I'm so happy with the professionalism of the management team at Lantern and I will recommend you guys to everyone I come across wanting to holiday at Thredbo   Everything you need is there at your doorstep when you stay in Thredbo. I can't think of anything lacking. Sometimes the website is glitchy but aside from that it's perfect!

    Was a great apartment for our needs, the internal laundry was great, the bathroom although a little small for a family was clean and functional. The views were spectacular, the kitchen area and appliances were great .. all in all we were very happy and will definitely be back ! thankyou.

    Everything was included! We had a fantastic stay, thank you. The property was beautiful and very well appointed. It was cosy and comfortable, beautifully decorated, and everything was thought of (eg expresso machine). We would like to thank you for having such a lovely property, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
