Thredbo Blues Festival will be in Town From January 14 to 16
Posted on Friday, 3rd of December 2010
The Thredbo Blues Festival is on again in January this year and after 17 years this well oiled event has a strong following. Not just for the quality and mix of home grown and overseas players but also because Thredbo is the perfect venue for a festival. Park your car on Friday and party all weekend in bars, on the mountain and around the village.
The fresh mountain air with the sounds of great blues echoing off the hills makes the atmosphere at Thredbo Blues unique. The Music starts on friday afternoon and rolls on until the early hours of Monday morning. Some of the most exciting blues you will hear is played on Sunday evening as musicians start impromtu jam sessions that can last for hours .
Some of the players featured at this years festival include:
All of our festival packages include accommodation and a discounted full weekend festival pass with chairlift rides.
Book a 3 night package staying in a one bedroom apartment for only $403 per person, twin share.
