Round Two of the Cross Country and Downhill Mountain Bike Nationals series arrive in Thredbo. This event brings the best riders in the country to compete over 2 days. The Cross country event will be short and sharp using mountain & village infrastructure in a cyclo cross style. Hike Merritts Nature Track from the village to the summit – 21kms (roundtrip) or take a Chairlift ride and walk to the Kosciuszko Lookout 4km. It is 19 years since the first Thredbo Blues Festival and the event has become the muso’s festival of choice. Bands love Thredbo because it is easy to get around and the venues are intimate so they get great feedback from the audience.
