THE APRES BAR AT THE DENMAN. The Apres Bar is back in style with classy decor, fireplace, live music and some great bar meals for both lunch and a light supper. BERNTI’S Located past the Mowamba Shops on the right. Here you have the choice of eating in the cafe or in the a la carte restaurant. Bernti’s a la carte is one of Thredbo’s established fine dining rooms and the menu has now incorporated a quality steak house selection to feed the hungry after a day on the hill. THE BLACK BEAR INN (Winter Only) The Black Bear is an Austrian style guest house offering some classic Austrian fare. The restaurant is small but it has a lovely warm atmosphere when it is full of diners who are full of schnapps and that happens frequently at this cosy little inn. Licensed. THE CANDLELIGHT LODGE (Winter Only) Located next to Black Bear Inn at Belas Corner. Candlelight is one of Thredbo’s oldest commercial lodges and it’s old timey Tyrolean style a la carte restaurant and Schnapps Bar welcomes the general public of an evening for a unique dining experience. CASCADES Located in the Alpine Hotel . This is the Alpine’s main restaurant. The menu is a brasserie style selection of anything from Fish and Chips (done in style) and steak through to exotic Asian dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant and the prices are reasonable. THE DENMAN TERRACE. The Denman is serious about being the best. Great atmosphere, excellent food and very good service make this a special dining experience in Thredbo. This is not a restaurant for the budget conscious diner. .The Terrace is a great choice for dinner and it is literally one minute’s walk from the Lantern. THE EAGLES NEST. This is a unique Thredbo dining experience. During the Snow season and over the busy periods of the Summer Season Eagles Nest Offers a Dinner Menu for one or 2 nights a week. The food is usually good but the enclosed Gondola Ride and the spectacular summer sunsets and winter moonlight on the snow of the Chimineys Range make this a quintessential Thredbo experience . THE HOUSE OF ULLR Just Past Bernti’s is “The House Of Ullr.” This is Thredbo’s alternative Pub. Great value food is available with a “cook your own” BBQ and salad bar. KNICKERBOCKER This is Thredbo’s newest restaurant and it is an exciting addtion to the village. Brad and Monika Spalding of the Wild Brumby Distillery have bought the site of the once legendary Credo Restaurant, but the venue they have created is a long way from the more conservative fine dining of that erstwhile Thredbo institution. Knickerbocker, as the name suggests is all about Austrian Mountain culture, fun and if the Wild Brumby has anything to do with it….Schnapps! Don’t miss a chance to test out Knickerbocker.
SEGRETO Located at the entrance to Cascades. Segreto is a cosy gourmet italian restaurant The menu is well varied and the prices are reasonable. Licensed.

SANTE Sante is located in the village square, next door to the news agent, literally in the heart of the village. The buzz at Sante is a Brazillian BBQ in the Rodizio style. With an all you can eat menu it is a great option for the hungry.

RIVERS RESTAURANT, THE RIVER INN The River Inn opened in 1997 and is located on the banks of Merritt’s Creek near the Friday Flat ski area. THE “T” BAR At the hotel end of the Mowamba shopping centre. Wood Fired Pizzas are the the staple of T Bars menu. They are excellent and you can also order take away. The T bar is open late and is always a good choice when you want something quick and tasty.
